The Autonomous Orthodox Church of Western Europe and Canada – UOC (Ukrainian Orthodox Church) - PK (Patriarchate of Kyiv) is a Canonical Church which stems from the Patriarchal See of Elder Kyiv.

Our Apostolic Succession comes from the Russian Orthodox Church.

We are part of the Ancient Church that binds both its Eastern and Western traditions: a place for our people to come together and rediscover their ancient roots and celebrate their ecclesial heritage in faith.

The Patriarchal Mandate of Mission bestowed us is precisely to bring the Ancient Faith back to the West which is in desperate need – her people being scattered within a state of fragmented Christianity!

The Byzantine Church of Italy

Many Roman Christians from Italian heritage seek to go back to their roots, their Mother Church which for a large territory of Southern Italy was under the spiritual protection of the Great Church of Constantinople!

Alike adoption along with its various reasons – good, bad, and indifferent, one has the ardent desire to know their true heritage in order that their life receive healing and wholeness; the sense of belonging to that which is truly part of our DNA.

HOLY APOSTLES

Based in Melbourne, the Holy Apostles: Metropolis of Australia and New Zealand exists via the pleasure of the Holy Spirit within the Ukrainian Orthodox Church - Patricachate of Kyiv and Archdiocese of Western Europe and Canada in order to re-establish Holy Orthodoxy amongst the people whose heritage stems from Elder Rome.

Our objective is to restore dignity and canonicity to a church that has forgotten the mindset of the apostles: to preach, teach and welcome people from all walks of life - becoming a true church for Australia and New Zealand within the Roman Orthodox tradition.
