The exarchate will open it's first synod (Parliament of the Orthodox Church of Australia) from Friday 9th March 2018 through to Sunday 11th March 2018.
The clergy will convene then again with the people of God in prayer and council discerning all issues in the spirit of the seven ecumenical councils and merciful outlook of the church in formative years, rather than the rigorous institutional stance (letter of the law) and foreignness from what Christ our Bishop ordained it to be (heart of the Law)

Reflection on Our Synod
As is the venerable custom of the Holy Church we held a Church Synod - this being a time where the clergy of our Exarchate meet to discuss important matters in relation to the life and ministry of the Church.
Through the guidance of the All Holy Spirit we were able to make decisions that will benefit the ministry and growth of the Exarchate.
Each day there was a liturgical celebration, followed by fellowship and agape.
